Grace Anna Bryson, 76, of Somonauk passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich, IL after a long battle with cancer. She was born March 17, 1939 in San Diego, CA. The daughter of Carl Herman and Adalene Marie Spach Carlson. She married Bill Bryson on September 14, 1957 at Suydam United Methodist in Leland, IL. Anna was a member of the Suydam United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. She was a Sunday School teacher, leader in her church, 4-H and Job Daughters. Anna was also the recipient of a Masonic Award. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, attending to her flowers, crafts, sewing, and cooking. Anna was a wonderful wife, great mother and the best grandmother. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Bill of Somonauk, IL; five daughters, Bonnie Bill Sharp of Leland, IL, Teresa Green of Leland, IL, Carolyn Jim Tuma of Shabbona, IL, Janet Dave Farace of O’Fallon, MO and Sharon Sam Negron of Yorkville, IL; ten grandchildren, Shannon Sharp, Cathy Kurtis Roth, Debi KJ Brockman, Clayton and Laura Tuma, Nicole and Julia Farace, Hunter, Jacob, and Anna Negron; eight great grandchildren; and many friends. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Willow Crest and Transitions Hospice for all their caring and support.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Chris Sharp and one son-in-law, John Green.
