Gordon Frank Ring, age 78, son of the late Frank G. and Valeria T. Ring, passed away March 27, 2016. He was a resident of Somonauk, Illinois the last 30 years, formerly of Harvey, Illinois.
Husband of Rosemary, brother of the late David A. Ring, James Ring of Lisle, Joan Ring of Homewood and Thomas Rhondelle Ring of Palos Heights; step father to John Gordon and Rachael John Perkins of Florida and grandfather to Annie, Jonas and Scarlet Perkins of Florida.
Gordon was a 1955 graduate of Thornton Township High School of Harvey, Illinois. He served in the US Army. Before retirement, he had worked for the State of Illinois as a layout engineer for several years and retired from Harbour Construction Company of Oak Brook, Illinois.
