Glen Howard Maloy

Glen H. “Bud” Maloy, 91, of Mendota, IL formerly of Leland, IL passed away, Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Stonecroft Village Retirement Community in Mendota, IL. He was born June 10, 1926 in Sterling, IL the son of Glen and Margaret McLaughlin Maloy. He married Grace Oulman on June 13, 1952 in Earlville, IL, she passed away June 30, 1988. Bud was an Electrician by trade and retired in 1988 from NIU as an Electrical Technician, but worked many odd jobs over the years. Bud then spent over 20 years with Doris Skelly and her children, Nancy Al Perry, Jane Mike Termini and their daughter Molly. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, horseshoes, dancing, being a handyman and especially spending time with his family. Bud loved tinkering in his shop.

He is survived by one daughter, Susan Charles Kaminky of Galveston, TX; one son, Glen Shirley Maloy III of Earlville, IL; nine grandchildren, Margaret Joe Anderson Kaminky, Sarah Shane Atkinson, Liz Ryan Woodworth, Michael Kaminky, Gwen Leslie Robinson, Rebecca John Eager, Daniel April Craft Maloy, Laura Maloy, Thomas Maloy and Jessica Kyle Rumney; nine great grandchildren, Jaxon and Lilly Robinson, Grace and Clinton Eager, Faith Kaminky, Nevan and Declan Woodworth, and Lincoln and Victoria Rumney; one great great granddaughter, Anastasia Kaminky; one sister, Marjorie “Polly” Pierson of Aurora, IL; one daughter-in-law, ReNee Pike of AZ; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Grace, one son Thomas Edward Maloy and two sisters, Mavis Walton and Ruth Maloy.
