Glen H. Fultz, 80, of Earlville, IL passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at his home. He was born July 29, 1934 in Hodgenville, KY, the son of Elbert and Sarah Barnett Fultz. He married Ann Ketcham on June 5, 1954 in Utica, IL. Glen worked for the Earlville Post Office for 27 years, retiring in the early ‘90’s. He also worked for Worsley’s Service Station as a mechanic for 10 years. Glen enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, the outdoors, traveling and his family.
He is survived by his wife, Ann of Earlville, IL; three daughters, Pamela Curtis Compton of Plainfield, IL, Patricia David Millen of Yorkville, IL and Teresa Bob Weygand of Crystal Lake, IL; two sons, Steven Deb Fultz of Earlville, IL and Scott Deb Fultz of Earlville, IL; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and thirteen half-brothers, John, Robert, Walter, Howard, Guy, Albert and Emmett Fultz, Arvin, Fred, Otis, Leonard, Harold and Vernon Sprowls and one half-sister, Gail Sprowls Kirsteatter.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Earlville with Rev. Tammy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Precinct Cemetery in Earlville. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the church in Earlville. Memorials may be directed to the family.
