Geraldine “Jerry” Kukuk, 87, of Earlville, IL, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at her home. She was born May 25, 1931 in Earlville, IL, the daughter of Harold and Rue Baxter (Wiley) Smith. She married Robert R. Kukuk on May 11, 1956 in Ottawa, IL. Jerry was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Earlville, IL. She enjoyed crafts like cross stitch and needlepoint and also jigsaw puzzles. Jerry visited with the residents for Rochelle Gardens Care Center daily when she spent time with Robert.
She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Przetacznik of Paw Paw, IL, Debbie Conover of Lewiston, ID, and Pennie (Robert McDade) Van Pelt of Somonauk, IL; six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Joan Kukuk of CO; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert, her sister, Lynne Quale, and her son-in-law, Dennis Conover.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville. Graveside Service will follow at Precinct Cemetery in Earlville with Pastor Tammy Anderson officiating. Memorials may be directed to Vitas Hospice.
