Gerald E. Riedelsperger

Gerald E. Riedelsperger, 58, of Hinckley, IL passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at his residence. He was born September 15, 1948 in Sandwich, IL the son of Ervin and Mavis (Vermeland) Riedelsperger. He was a member of Hinckley-Big Rock School Board and St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Hinkley. Gerald enjoyed photography, the great outdoors, but most of all, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his parents, Ervin and Mavis of Hinkley; one daughter, Megan (Nathan Wilson) Riedelsperger of Aurora, MO; one son, Jared Riedelsperger of Aurora, MO; three grandchildren, Quentin, Issac, and Ethan Wilson; one brother, Don (Renee) Riedelsperger of Sandwich, IL; one sister, Jean Laskey of Cincinnati, OH; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Manz, Matthew Laskey, Kimberly Franco, Kristina Riedelsperger, and Katelyn Riedelsperger; the mother of Gerald's children, Doris Sloan of Mt. Vernon, MO.

Funeral Service will be held at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Hinkley with Rev. William Nagy officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at the church in Hinkley. Memorials may be directed to the family.
