Geneva C. Schwickerath

Geneva C. Schwickerath, 85, of Sandwich, IL passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born November 23, 1922 in New Hampton, IA, the daughter of William and Dorothy Roethler Brown. She married Alvin J. Schwickerath on March 25, 1942 in Iowa. She was a member of St.John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk, IL. Geneva retired from Plano Molding in Plano, IL. She enjoyed playing cards, baking, and traveling. Her greatest love all was spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by six children, John Schwickerath, Marty (Bill) Francis, Gary (Marge) Schwickerath, Mike (Bari) Schwickerath, Carol (Dennis) Shelton and LuAnn (Tom Hansen) Schwickerath; one daughter in law, Magdalena Abel, seventeen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter, four sisters in law, Pearl Brown, Lucy Brown, Lee Brown and Valery Gebel; three brothers in law, Richard (Dorothy) Schwickerath, Paul Schwickerath and Wilbert Schwickerath and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brothers and sisters, Delmar Brown, Leonard Brown, Rita Bodmer, Delores Katalo, Orville Brown, and Don Brown.
