Gary J. Streff, 62, of Sandwich, Illinois passed away, Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at OSF ST. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. He was born July 17, 1953 in Aurora, IL the son of Charles and and Maxine Konen Streff. He married Kathie D. Murphy on October 24, 1997 in Lodi, WI. He was a member of the Sandwich Moose Lodge #1016. Gary enjoyed fishing, gardening, barbequing, cars and the greatest love of all was his family.
He is survived by two daughters, Tara Karl Dean of Hinckley, IL and Jennifer Streff of Sandwich, IL, two step sons, Ryan Katie Smith of Evanston, IL and Eric Ordonez of Sandwich, IL; three grandchildren, Kiley, Eric and Kyan; two sisters, Pam Gene Tuck Streff of Boynton Beach, FL and Lisa Charles Casner of Sandwich, IL one brother Mark Tammy Streff of Merritt Island, FL and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kathie, one brother Charles Streff.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 30, 2015 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL with Rev. Andy Davy M.I.C. officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery Bristol, IL. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 29, 2015 at the funeral home in Plano, IL.
