Gale A. Youssi, 55, of Van Orin, IL passed away, Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville, IL. She was born November 17, 1957 in Evergreen Park, IL the daughter of Gene and Rosemary (Ignowski) Lillie. She married David L. Youssi on February 17, 1994 in Ottawa, IL. Gale’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids.
She is survived by four daughters, Hollie Potochney of LaSalle, IL, Christina (Terrence) Norris of Chicago, IL, Brittany Youssi of Peru, IL and Kelsi Potochney of Van Orin, IL One son Frank (Kristi) Potochney of Marseilles, IL; eight grandchildren, Kaylee, Alexis, Ethan, Haley, Alyssa, Alicia, Toni and Connor; one sister, Ann (Michael) Wixom; three brothers, Richard (Pam) Lillie, Steven (Cindy) Lillie and Brian Lillie; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband David in 2009, one son, Tony Potochney, three brothers, William Lillie, Robert Lillie and David Lillie.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville, IL with Pastor Mike Slutz officiating. Burial will follow in Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2013 in the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
