Frank R. Marquett, 72, of Somonauk, IL passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 24, 1943 in Chicago, IL, the son of Howard and Mary Cardella Marquett. He married Catherine M. Musich on January 17, 1986 in Western Springs, IL. Frank was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed playing games, computer time and boating but his greatest love of all was his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine of Somonauk; four daughters, Marybeth Kincaid of Winfield, Maggie Michael Ambrose of Naperville, Carla Tom Pantoni of Darien and Anne Sean Murphy of Cincinnati; three sons, David Marquett of Pecatonica, Jack Kvicky of Berwyn and Tom Kvicky of Somonauk; seven grandchildren, Frankie Pantoni, Devin Ambrose, Kayla Ambrose, Jenny Pantoni, Bella Kincaid, Joey Pantoni and Kiley Ambrose; two sisters, Rosemary Crofton of New Albany, OH and Sandy Michael Chmielewski of Norridge; and one brother, Chuck Marquett of Wood Ridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Charlotte Marquett.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk with Rev. Kevin Butler officiating. Private burial will be at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk. Family reflection time will be held at 4:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. during the visitation. Visitation will also be from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home before the Funeral Mass Monday morning.
