Francis Michael Heiston

Francis Michael Heiston, 60, of Earlville, Illinois passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL after a battle with cancer. He was born October 29, 1955 in Mendota, IL the son of Francis L. and C. Viola Whitlock Heiston. Mike was a graduate of Earlville High School. He was a prior member of the Earlville Jaycees, the Earlville Lions Club, and the Mendota Moose Lodge. He enjoyed a good game of Euchre, bowling and his many friends at the Earlville Public Library.

He is survived by one brother Ricky Linda Heiston of Earlville, several nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, James and David Heiston.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Earlville United Presbyterian Church, 620 S. Ottawa St. in Earlville, with Pastor Sandy Smith and Pastor Del Keilman officiating. Burial of his urn will follow in Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 10, 2016 in the church until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home of Earlville, IL.
