Frances B. Sebby

Frances B. Sebby, 99, of Yorkville, IL passed away on January 8, 2026 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL surrounded by her family. She was born on January 25, 1926 in Aurora, IL. the daughter of Stephan and Lillian (Voelkner) Bazan. She married Donald Sebby on June 12, 1948 in Oswego Township and were married for 61 years. Frances was a devoted mother and the steady heart of the family raising her seven children. She enjoyed much of her time playing bingo with her friends and quilting with her church lady friends. She was a 39-year member of the Yorkville American Legion Auxiliary #489.

She is survived by four children David Sebby of Montana, Dale (Donna) Sebby of Yorkville, Dianne Edwards of Aurora, and Kevin (Hayeun) of Yorkville; two brothers Donald and Robert Bazan; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Stephan and Lillian Bazan; children Steven Sebby, Carol Bryant, Daniel Sebby; brothers Leonard, Stephan, and John; sisters Marie and Lydia.
