Florence E. Richardson

Florence E. Richardson, 99, of Earlville, IL passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at her home in Earlville. She was born October 24, 1916 in Boscobel, WI the daughter of John and Claire Flansburgh Matthews. She married Virgil E. Richardson on June 30, 1935 in Boscobel, WI. Florence worked at Badger Ordinance in WI for several years, after moving to Illinois Virgil and Florence lived and worked on a farm in rural Sheridan, IL for several years. She also worked at Plano Molding in Plano, IL until her retirement.

She is survived by three sons, Russell Danelle Richardson of Darien, WI, Raymond Richardson and Ricky Richardson both of Earlville. Eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandson, one sister Sue Dean Schuler of Mena, AR and one brother John Matthews of Livingston, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Virgil in 1991, three brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral Services held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville, IL with Pastor Sandy Smith officiating. Burial was in Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville.
