F. Gladys Stillwell, 88, of Earlville, IL passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in Mendota Community Hospital Mendota, IL. She was born July 19, 1923 in Finley, KY the daughter of Barry and Mary Jo (Allen) Whitlock. She married Leonard Stillwell on January 6, 1938 in Lebanon, KY.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Cottingim of Earlville, IL; one son Larry Stillwell of Hayward, WI, and one daughter-in-law, Wilma Stillwell of Earlville, IL; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, one sister Margaret (Otis) Skaggs of Earlville, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard and one son, Kenneth, eleven brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville, IL with Rev. Lloyd Curry officiating. Burial will follow in Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012 in the funeral home until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
