Evelyn E. Charlesworth, 94, of Sandwich, IL passed away, Tuesday, August 2, 2011 in Valley West Community Hospital, Sandwich. She was born December 23, 1916 in Rochelle, IL the daughter of Find and Reka (Weudt) Gombeau.
She is survived by two daughters, Becky (Roberto) Gonzalez of California, and Linda Lawrence of Sandwich, IL; seven grandchildren, Jerry Lawrence of Sandwich, IL, Shawn (Janel) Lawrence of Yorkville, IL, Kathy, Cinda, E.J. , Michelle and Angela; seven great grandchildren, Cody, Alexa, Madison, Kinslee, Amber, Angie and Jennifer; five great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edwin Charlesworth, one son Eddie Schomer, one step-son Edwin Charlesworth.
At Evelyn’s request there will be no visitation and services will be private. Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home.
