Evelyn L. Baptist, 89, of Aurora, IL passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Aurora Rehab and Living Center in Aurora. She was born August 10, 1923 in Morris, IL the daughter of Andrew and Margaret (West) Nelson. She married Sanders Baptist in 1968 in Geneva, IL.
She is survived by two sons, Robert and Douglas Benson both of Mesa, AZ; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; one brother, Norman Nelson of Morris and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; two brothers, Andrew and Mervin Nelson; three sisters, Dorothy, Agnes and Eleanor.
Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Plattville Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery rural Minooka, IL. Arrangements were entrusted to Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano.
