Ethel M. Tolliver, 100, of Sandwich started her eternal journey at 3:20 p.m., June 19, 2012 at Sandwich Rehab and Health Care Center in Sandwich, IL. She was born July 22, 1911 in Pucketts Creek Virginia, the first daughter of Zion W. and Nancy M. (Parsons) Payne. She enjoyed sewing, animals and her family.
She was survived by one son, George (Barbara) Tolliver of Davis Junction, IL; one grandson John (Lori) Tolliver of DeKalb; one great grandson, Brandon Tolliver; one great granddaughter, Angeline Tolliver; two sister, Ada Lou Gilbert of Florida, Zella Mae Roof of TN;
She was preceded by her parents; three sisters, Edith Ewing, Kathleen Winn and Thelma Roy; three brothers, Willis Payne, Harvey Payne and Reynard Payne.
There will be a committal service at 10:00 a.m., June 30, 2012 at Cecil Fry Cemetery, in Pennington Gap VA.
