Eric C. Misener, 45, of Sandwich, IL, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 9, 1973 in Sandwich, IL, the son of Michael and Karen (Hughes) Misener. He married Karie Martin on July 15, 2000 in Sugar Grove, IL. Eric owned and operated Custom Landscape Installation, Inc of Sandwich for over six years. He loved music, his classic cars, reading, his work, his pets, but he especially loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karie; his daughter, Brooklynn; his mother, Karen (Dale) Misener of Somonauk, IL; his grandmother, Albertha Hughes of WI; one sister, Jennifer (Eric Kuntz) Misener of MT; one niece, Taylor; three nephews, Nathan (Natalie), Adrian, and Ryan; one great nephew, Liam; his father and mother-in-law, Tom and Linda Martin of Somonauk, IL; one sister-in-law, Jamie Johnson of Somonauk, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael, his grandparents, Robert E. Hughes and Don and Diane Misener, and one cousin, Craig Hughes.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Somonauk, IL with Rev. David Kaul officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Mound Cemetery in Somonauk, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the church in Somonauk.
