Elizabeth B. “Betty” Scullin, 74, of Camarillo, CA formerly of Hoopeston, IL passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in California. She was born March 2, 1938 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Charles and Bernice (Fickle) Scullin.
She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Hoopeston and later Padre Serra Catholic Church in Camarillo, CA. She enjoyed her beloved Chicago Bears, her life in California, her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Chuck (Amy) Eighner of Somonauk, IL and Darrin Eighner of Rankin, IL; four grandchildren, Josh, Sabine′, Kyle and Zachary Eighner; one sister, Mary Jane Eyrich of Gallatin, TN; one very special niece, Julie (Al) Maturo of Camarillo, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Patrick and Michael Scullin.
Memorial Mass services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Hoopeston. Burial will follow in Floral Hill Cemetery in Hoopeston. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Hoopeston. Memorials may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
