Elizabeth “Libby” Ann Coselman, 86, of Leland, IL formerly of Plano, IL passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Prairie Crossing in Shabbona, IL. She was born June 7, 1938 in Glasgow, KY. The daughter of Thurman and Effie Grace (Garrett) Coomer. She married Albert Eugene Coselman, Jr., on August 31, 1975 in Plano, IL. She worked at Western Electric in Montgomery, IL for more than 25 years, retiring in 1995. Libby enjoyed doing her yardwork and gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her three sons, Jerry Lee(Tonya) Sexton of Sheridan, Richard Amburs Sexton of Florida, and Bobby Joe Coselman of Somonauk, IL. ; one-step daughter, Nancy Coselman of Wisconsin; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, two brothers, Larry (Claudia) Coomer of Georgia, and Michael (Janelle) Coomer of Arizona; three sisters, Barbara (Jim) Halloway of KY, Kathy Smith of North Carolina, and Shirley (Steve) VanJoske of Newark, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers Raymond and Thurman “David” Coomer, stepson Ronald Coselman and two stepdaughters Donna Way and Deborah Hooper.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 2:00 pm-6:00 pm at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the funeral home with Pastor Josh Voigt officiating. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL.
