Douglas Wayne "Doug" Hindle

Douglas Wayne “Doug” Hindle, 62, of Earlville, IL passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at OSF St. Paul Medical Center in Mendota, IL. He was born April 20, 1956 in Mendota, IL the son of William B. and Mary L. (Swayze) Hindle. Doug is a graduate of Earlville High School and received his BA in finance from NIU. Most of his life Doug worked as a mason with Nielsen and Hindle Masonary of Earlville.

He is survived by two sons, Jacob “Jake” (Megan) Hindle of Silvis, IL and Wyatt Hindle of Earlville, IL; one granddaughter expected in July; one brother, Larry (Nancy) Hindle of Hillsboro, IL; two sisters, Linda (Tom) Lonie of Roseburg, OR, and Cindy (Chuck) Lippert of Earlville, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville with Pastor Sandy Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the funeral home in Earlville. Burial will be at Precinct Cemetery at a later date.
