Dorothy E. Friel

Dorothy E. Friel, 82, of Yorkville, IL passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 in Yorkville. She was born September 8, 1934 in Oswego, IL the daughter of Dola and Zora Rienbolt Cunningham. She married Jack Friel on September 4, 1954 in Yorkville. She loved traveling to Anna Maria Island in Florida with Jack. Dorothy enjoyed flowers, gardening and being outdoors.
She is survived by her husband Jack of Yorkville, one daughter Pamela Jeff Beach of Dallas, Texas, one son Steven Dawn Friel of Yorkville, IL; three grandchildren, Jason Jaime Martin Gunterman, George Friel and Brad Friel; three great grandchildren, Nathan, Dominic and Natlie; one brother Clarence Kathy Cunningham of Oswego, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Raymond Cunningham.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.mn., Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Turner-Eighner Funeral in Plano, IL with Pastor Richard Kenneavy officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2017 until the time of services in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Charity of one’s choice.
