Dorothy J. Adrian

Dorothy J. Adrian, 74, of Somonauk passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at her home. She was born April 9, 1940 in Leland, the daughter of Louis Charles and Viola (Erickson) Meyer. She married Robert Adrian on June 25, 1966 in Somonauk. Dorothy was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk.

She is survived by four daughters, Deborah (Mark) Fisher of Somonauk, IL, Elizabeth (Tim) Westbrook of Somonauk, IL, Mary (Mark) Klossing of Sandwich, IL and Rebecca (Ryan) Andrews of Somonauk, IL; nine grandchildren, Jake Fisher, Mitchell, Drew and Aubrey Westbrook, Noah and Miya Klossing and Carter, Whitney and Brady Andrews; her sisters and brothers, James (Gertrude) Meyer of Somonauk, IL, Eleanor Salisbury of Montgomery, IL and her twin Richard (Marge) Meyer of Somonauk, IL; one sister-in-law, Barbara Meyer; three brothers-in-law, Ronald (JoAnn) Adrian of Somonauk, IL, Paul (Rosalie) Adrian of Leland, IL and Marvin Hill of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Gertrude (Oscar) Huber, Mildred Meyer and Virginia (Harold) Miller; three brothers, Louis (Audrey) Meyer, Harold Meyer and Robert (Mary) Meyer; one sister-in-law, Marie Hill; and one brother-in-law, Al Salisbury.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk with Father Kevin Butler officiating with a rosary service before Mass at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Somonauk. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk.
