Dorathea M. Wilkins, 91, of Earlville, IL passed away, Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in Mendota Community Hospital in Mendota. She was born June 14, 1922 in Earlville, IL the daughter of Robert W. and Ida E. (Budach) Hamilton. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Earlville. She worked for GTE for over 30 years.
She is survived by one sister, Vera Hamilton of Earlville; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and great great nieces, including, Maryann Wooley, Robert (Marlya) Wooley, Susan Hamilton, Russell (Jamie) Pratt Jr., Janis (Neil) Mederich, Micaylah Wooley, Tyler Wooley, Katie Pratt and Maddie Pratt, Amanda Mederich and Abbie Mederich.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Betty Rose Hamilton and Ruth Wooley, one brother Robert Hamilton and one nephew Michael Hamilton, one niece Carolyn Pratt.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Earlville, IL with Rev. Tammy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m., Sunday, in the church until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville.
