Donna Jean Leidolf, 72, of Lake Holiday, IL passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 at her home. She was born November 8, 1944 in Flint, MI, the daughter of Lawrence and Mildred Ellison Clark. She married George J. Leidolf on November 24, 1973 in Flint, MI. Donna retired from Bell Laboratories in Naperville after 30 years of service. She enjoyed boating, playing cards, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by her husband, George of Lake Holiday, IL; one son, George L. Kimberly Leidolf of Palatine, IL; one daughter, Rachel Golden of Lake Holiday, IL; six grandchildren, Kiley Golden, Benjamyn Golden, Michael Toth, George M. Leidolf, Allison Leidolf and Katelyn Leidolf; two sisters, Reta Hawk of Flint, MI and Deborah Clark of Waterford, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, William and John Clark.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich, with Pastor Del Keilman officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the funeral home in Sandwich, IL, and from 10:00 a.m., Saturday until the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich, IL.
