Donald L. Hann

Donald L. Hann, 64, of Somonauk, IL passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb, IL. He was born October 28, 1947 in Sandwich, IL the son of Robert and Jeanette (Dannewitz) Hann. He married Linda Fuchs on January 20, 1968 in Somonauk, IL. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Sandwich Moose Lodge, and a Somonauk Volunteer Fireman for over 28 years. He loved the outdoors being an avid fisherman and hunter. He was self-employed as a carpenter and garage door sales and service for many, many years.

He is survived by his wife Linda of Somonauk; Two daughters, Jodi (Tom) Wilson of Sandwich, IL and Stephanie (Jason) Baumbach of Sandwich, IL; four grandchildren, Connor and Evan Wilson, Dylan and Jayden Baumbach; four sisters, Janice Hann of Chicago, IL, Roberta Mickelson of Somonauk, IL, Pat Hann of Somonauk, IL, and Kay (Kevin) Flavin of DeKalb, IL; one brother, Joe (Carmen) Hann of Somonauk, IL and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother David.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk with Reverend Thomas Brantman officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Somonauk. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday April 16, 2012.
