Donald H. Christensen "Chris", 78, of Plano, IL passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora. He was born October 2, 1934 in Aurora, IL the son of Harry and Stella Drought Christensen. Chris married his high school sweetheart, Carmen M. Hale Caviness after graduating from West Aurora. An avid explorer, Chris enjoyed traveling all over the United States and abroad. He proudly served in the Navy Reserves and he retried from Caterpillar Tractor Company.
He is survived by his children, Beth (Steve) Zanis, Lisa (Tim) Murphy and Steve (Anna) Christensen. He will be dearly missed by his eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Carmen.
