Dolores Z. "Dee" Harger, 87, of Earlville, Illinois passed away Friday, August 7, 2009 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich, IL. She was born March 11, 1922 in Garden Plain, IL, the daughter of Earl and Anna Brinkman Huggins. She married Paul Harger on May 15, 1944, in Rock Island, Illinois. Dee worked at CTS Knights in Sandwich, IL for several years and later at Ted's Red Fox grocery store in Earlville for nine years. She was a member of Earlville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Weaver of Earlville, IL and Andrea (Tom) Busen of Plano, IL; one son, Terry Harger of Ottawa, IL; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul; one son, Dale "Skip" Harger and one brother, PFC Donald Huggins.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville with Pastor Cheri Stewart officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2009, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
