Diana Marie Mccoy

Diana Marie McCoy, 74, of Byron, formerly of Earlville, IL, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family and dear husband. She was born November 1, 1942 in Sandwich, IL, the daughter of Elmer and Geraldine Goldsberry Wright. She married Harvey McCoy on June 8, 1961 in E. TN. Diana was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid knitter, making many “Creations by Grandma.” Diana loved to travel, spending time with her dogs, and preparing her creations for craft shows. She will be greatly missed by all she loved and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey of Byron, IL; her children, Robert W. McCoy of Stillman Valley, IL, Dawn M. Anthony Henderickson of Byron, IL and Deborah L. Harper of Stillman Valley, IL; ten grandchildren, Brandon and Emily children of Robert, Joshua, Meghan, Sarah and Olivia children of Dawn and Stephan, Aaron, Ashley and Nichole children of Deborah; six great grandchildren, Samuel, Elise, Owen, Sophia, Gideon, and Myra; one sister, Cheri Larry Back of Orlando, FL; one uncle, Wayne Goldsberry of Paris, TN; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Charles and Gerald.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville, IL with Pastor Del Keilman officiating. Burial will follow at Precinct Cemetery in rural Earlville. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at the funeral home in Earlville.
