Heaven is rejoicing! Diana ( Dissell) Lokey 88, of DeKalb, Illinois was promoted to glory on Saturday January 21, 2012 at DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center in DeKalb. She was born October 30, 1923 in Aurora, Illinois, the daughter of Alexander William and Diana (Plante) Dissell. She married the love of her life, Paul R. Lokey, on April 29, 1946 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Aurora. She owned and operated
Diana's Beauty Shop for many years. Diana attended Harvest Chapel Assembly of God in Sandwich, formerly active in the Salvation Army Church in Aurora, Illinois. She was a beautiful Christian lady that everyone loved.
She is survived by one daughter, Paula (Greg) Geihm of Leland, Illinois; six grandchildren, Paul Geihm, Jacob Geihm, Nicolette Geihm, and Mikayla Geihm all of Leland, Jordan (Olivia Oldeen) Geihm of Sandwich, Illinois, Kami Lokey of Colorado, one great-granddaughter, Akira Lokey of Colorado, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Russell William Lokey, and all her sisters and brothers.
A loving thank you goes to her niece Gala and her nephew Tom for all their love and support. Also, special thanks to the staff of Country View Square at DeKalb County
Rehab and Nursing Center for their loving care.
Memorial services will be held at Harvest Chapel Assembly of God, 725 S. County line Road, Sandwich, Illinois on February 4, 2012 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Craig Kackley officiating. Burial will be private. Memorials may be directed to The Alzheimer's Foundation, Harvest Chapel Assembly of God, or The Salvation Army. Arrangements were entrusted to Turner Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, Illinois.
