Devin "Ref Dev" Morgan Anderson

Devin Morgan Anderson aka “Ref Dev,” 38, of Dixon, IL, formerly of Plano, passed away suddenly Saturday, April 19, 2025, after fighting life-long heart issues. He was born June 26, 1986, the son of Mark and Rhonda (Shelton) Anderson. A passionate wrestling fan, he was highly involved in and refereed for many amateur wrestling organizations. Over the years Devin has worked with numerous organizations across the region, recognized for his dedication and professionalism. Devin received Referee of the Year in 2021 from Powerhouse Wrestling. He also enjoyed many sports including basketball, football, stock car racing, bowling, and paintball. Devin loved watching live comedy performances at the Egyptian Theatre and anywhere he could get a good laugh. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially hanging out with his cat, Eddie, and playing video games. He will be missed by all who knew and respected him through his professional endeavors and light-hearted moments.

He is survived by his parents, Rhonda (Dave) Limon; Mark (Jennifer) Anderson; his sisters, Kara (Doug) Schmidt and Emily Limon; his niece, Avery; his nephews, Lucas and Chase; his grandmothers, Barbara “Bobbie” Shelton and Margaret “Peg” Anderson; step-grandmother, Dolores “Dee” Anderson; step-grandparents, David and Delia Limon; aunts, Teresa (Joel) Ross, Stephanie (Anderson) Geddes; many cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Dedrick “Hoss” Shelton and John “Lil Guy” Anderson, and Uncle Randy Shelton.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, at the funeral home in Plano, with Pastor Stevan Saunders. Burial will follow at Millington-Newark in Millington, IL.
