Dennis L. Cook, 69, of Earlville, IL passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 in OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa, IL. He was born April 20, 1943 in Mendota, IL the son of Clarence and Nellie (Greyer) Cook. He married Jean A. Hart in April of 1986 in Somonauk, IL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by one sister Patricia (Ted) Staniszewski of Montgomery, IL; one daughter, Amanda, one granddaughter, Myrna; one niece, Kim Powell and one nephew, Tim Staniszewski.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jean in 2006.
According to Dennis’s wishes there will be no visitation and a private service will be held at a later date to bury his urn in Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville. Arrangements were entrusted to Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville, IL.
