Dennis L. Fahrlander, 84, of Plano, IL passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 in his sleep. He was born September 19, 1937 in Aurora, IL the son of Louis F. and Kathryn (Chaon) Fahrlander.
He married Rosemarie Rodriguez on May 1961 in Aurora, IL. He attended New Hope Baptist Church in Plano, IL. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Cuban Blockade. He was a flight instructor at Sandwich Airport and had over 100 students he instructed. Dennis and Rosemarie enjoyed spending time at Starve Rock State Park in Utica, IL. Most of all he loved spending time with his wife.
According to Dennis’s wishes there will be no visitation and a Graveside Pray Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Lincoln Memorial Park in Aurora, IL.
He is survived by two daughters, Denise Schiltz of Plano, IL, and Debbie (Brian) Fasnacht of Hinckley, IL, one son Dennis J. Fahrlander of Plano, IL, three grandchildren, Allison, Hillary, and Ryan, one great grandson Matthew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Rosemarie.
