Deborah Ann Houlne, 54, of Yorkville, IL passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich, IL. She was born June 2, 1957 in Aurora, IL the daughter of John and Delores (Sherwin) Houlne. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plano, IL. Deborah had a great passion for cooking and baking, often creating new recipes for her family to enjoy. She was proud to have won several ribbons for cake entries at the Sandwich fair. She enjoyed vacations to Wisconsin and North Carolina. Deborah also loved playing bingo and card games.

She is survived by her mother, Delores of Yorkville; one sister, Karen (Ronald) Hatton of Sandwich, IL; two brothers, Robert Houlne of Morris, IL and Kenneth Houlne of Batavia, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Houlne

Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the old St. Mary’s Catholic Church at the corner of Church St. and Center St. in Plano, IL with Father Andrew Davy M.I.C. officiating. Burial will be private. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Arrangements were entrusted to Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL.
