Daniel E. Rolf, 19, of Montgomery, IL passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 2, 2023 in Plano, IL. He was born January 6, 2003 in Aurora, IL the son of Kristin R. Rolf. He graduated from Somonauk High School. Daniel loved Michigan State, Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Pittsburg Penguins, fantasy football and his cat “Midnight”.
He is survived by his mother Kristin of Montgomery, IL; his grandparents, William (Wanda) Rolf and Bernadine Rolf both of Plano, IL; one aunt, Jillian (Angelica Matczuk) Rolf of Aurora, IL; one uncle, William Edward Rolf of Somonauk, IL; one cousin, Isabella Grace Rolf; his great grandmother, Helen Swanson of Plano, IL; also survived by other relatives that loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Dave Swanson, and his great grandparents William and Marjorie Rolf.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL, with Deacon Doug Wells officiating. Memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice or animal shelter/rescue. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2023 in the funeral home prior to the memorial service.
