Daniel J. "Dan" Youssi

Daniel J. “Dan” Youssi, 57, of Mendota, IL passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at his residence in Mendota, IL. He was born November 10, 1959 in Sandwich, IL the son of Donald and Arlene Alexander Youssi. He married Melody Benson on May 23, 1982 in Sandwich, IL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Dan enjoyed working, staying busy, making coffee early in the mornings. Most of all he loved the Holiday’s, eating, spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Melody of Mendota, IL; two daughters, Kimberly Richard McLain Youssi and Sherri Fernando Rojas Youssi, both of Mendota, IL; one son, Joshua Youssi of Mendota, IL; four grandchildren, Jose, Sean, Julian and Sophia, with two more on the way. His mother, Arlene Butts of Mendota, IL; one brother, Michael Shirley Youssi of Singapore; one half-sister, Jennifer Coniglio of Gainesville, FL and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald, three brothers, Terry, David and Steven Youssi, one sister Marilyn Bennett, and one daughter Angela in infancy.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Hanley-Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Earlville with Pastor Sandy Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Precinct Cemetery in Earlville, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the funeral home in Earlville.
