Cole Douglas Mander, 22 months, of Yorkville passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Rush-Copley Hospital in Aurora, IL. He was born October 27, 2014 in Sandwich, IL, the son of Brent and Cori Stahl Mander. Cole was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Somonauk, where he was Baptized. He attended Children of America Day Care in Yorkville. Cole was a happy go lucky little boy who touched numerous hearts and will be sorely missed by all.
He is survived by his parents, Brent and Cori of Yorkville, IL; two sisters, Ryan 6 and Payton 4 Mander of Yorkville, IL; Grandparents, Doug and Linda Stahl of Sandwich, IL and Karen (Lance Davenport) Mander of Plano, IL; three aunts, Sherry Hill of Atlanta, GA, Amy (Seth) Gesell of Alexandria, MN and Jodi (Sam) Albers of Castle Rock, CO; one uncle, Mark (Jenna) Stahl of Nolensville, TN; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Richard Mander.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 5, 2016 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Somonauk with Pastor William C. Weidenbach, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Somonauk. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk.
