Cindy L. Holliday, 49, of Plano, IL passed away Saturday, February 10, 2007 in Provena Mercy Center Hospital in Aurora, IL. She was born January 26, 1958 in Sandwich, IL, the daughter of Robert Glen and Mary A. (Coppes) Martin. She attended Plano Christian Church, worked as a waitress at the Cozy Table Restaurant in Plano for many years, and she enjoyed her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her parents, Robert Glen (Janice) Martin of Plano, IL and Mary A. Martin of Sandwich, IL; one son, Tony (Dawn) Newberry of Millington, IL; four daughters, Brandy (Bill) Wasilewski of Steward, IL, Mary Schaefer of Millington, IL, Amanda (Morgan) Swartz of Sheridan, IL, and Samantha Carlson of Yorkville, IL; ten grandchildren, Hannah, Miranda, Mackenzie, Dylan, Casey, Stephanie, Michael, Scharlyn, Brandon, and Jacob; four sisters, Terri Cutsinger, Glenna (Jay) Martin, Diana (JR) Metcalf, and Joey (Scott) Goldman all of Plano, IL; three brothers, David (Kim) Martin of Morristown, TN, Robert Martin of Camdenton, MO, and Jeffrey (Sylvia) Martin of Plano, IL; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Newberry, and one niece, Lisa Todd.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL with Pastor Kenneth Todd officiating. Burial will follow at Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
