Christine A. (Hackerson) Gaffney, 70, of Sheridan, IL passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at her home in Sheridan. She was born April 11, 1951 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Marvin Glenn and Frances Geraldine (Dumas) Hackerson. She married Joseph L. Gaffney on February 14, 1989 in Ottawa, IL. She loved to cook and watch Green Bay Packers games, but most of all she loved spending time with friends and her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Julie Davis and Natalie (Jeffrey) Adler; three grandchildren, Jessica Dunkin, Brandan Romanowski, and Jacab Cole; and several great grandchildren; one brother Kenneth Hackerson of Aurora, IL ; one Sister Janet Hackerson of Aurora, IL.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Joseph, her parents, and one brother David Hackerson.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
