September 9, 2008 — June 9, 2025

Earlville

Chasity Stavenhagen, a bright light in the lives of all who knew her, was born on September 9, 2008, in Sandwich, Illinois. Tragically, she passed away on June 9, 2025, as the result of an auto accident. At just 16 years old, Chasity had already made her mark in her community and will be remembered for her vivacious spirit and remarkable talents.

An exemplary student at Earlville High School, Chasity dedicated herself to her studies while also embracing her passion for extracurricular activities. She actively participated in band, track, and softball, showcasing her commitment and diverse interests. Her enthusiasm was not limited to athletics and academics; Chasity also harbored a strong love for photography and gaming, often using these passions as avenues for creativity and connection with her peers.

Professionally, Chasity was an excellent worker at Blain's Farm & Fleet in Ottawa, where she contributed her skills to the e-commerce department, embodying the dedication and work ethic that she was known for throughout her life.

Chasity's relationships were a cornerstone of her existence. She is survived by her loving parents, Brian and Lisa Stavenhagen, and her sisters, Crystal and Cristy Cooper. She was cherished by five nieces and nephews—Kayleeann, Hunter, Semblance, Emery, and Ethan—who brought her immense joy and love. Additionally, she is survived by her paternal grandmother, Betty Stavenhagen, and her maternal grandfather, Jerry Hill. She will be deeply missed by many uncles, cousins, and friends, particularly her dear friend Breana, who shared countless cherished moments with her.

Chasity was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Bruce Stavenhagen, and her maternal grandmother, Janice Hoyle, who welcomed her into eternity with open arms.

As we remember Chasity Stavenhagen, we celebrate a life filled with potential, creativity, and love. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends, who will carry her memory forward with grace and admiration.
