Charles E. Wangler, ,84, of Sandwich, IL passed away, Friday, January 4, 2013 in Sandwich. He was born November 22, 1928 in Aurora, IL the son of Wesley and Marie (Foy) Wangler. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda and Kathy; one nephew, Tim Wangler; two nieces, Judy Alwine and Tina Tarpey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Robert and William.
A Graveside prayer service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Precinct Cemetery rural Earlville, IL. According to Charles wishes there will be no visitation. Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL.
