Charles A. "Chuck" Fox

Charles “Chuck” A. Fox, 62, of Somonauk, IL passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 1, 1956 in Aurora, IL the son of Laverne and Sara (Johnson) Fox. He married Patti Greenwood on August 14, 1976. He attended The Federated Church in Sandwich, and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk. He drove semi-trucks for Cannonball Express of Montgomery, IL. Chuck loved antiquing, boating, his Harley, and relaxing on the beach. He never met a stranger. Chuck’s greatest love of all was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Patti of Somonauk, his children, Ashley (Travis) McNurlan of Somonauk, IL, Lindsay Fox of Somonauk, IL and Jordan (Megan Kramer) Fox of Tempe, AZ; three grandchildren, Garrett, Emily, Ava, and one more soon to be in April; his parents, Laverne and Ann Fox, and Sara Taylor both of Sandwich, IL; one sister, Cindy Lackey of Somonauk, IL and one brother, Craig (Joann) Fox of Somonauk, IL; two step-sisters, Dawn (Scott) Cessner of FL, and Terri Raney of Sandwich, IL, one step-brother, Bill (Tetiana) Meier of Plano, IL; a very special uncle Ron Johnson, and many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Florence Fox, and Clarence and Evelyn Johnson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 8, 2018 at The Federated Church in Sandwich, IL with Rev. Dan DeWitt officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. (Please wear causal / beach attire).
