Chad E. Hutchinson, 26, of Sandwich, IL died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He finally found peace from his lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis, but everyone who knew him knows he never let it get the best of him. With his unique sense of humor Chad left behind a wake that no one could ignore. He was born October 31, 1984 to Karen Cook and Doug Hutchinson. From that
time he has touched so many people and will continue to hold all of our hearts. He enjoyed all things mechanical and spent many hours working on cars with his friends. He was known as the human car manual” He could take apart anything and put it back together working. A fantastic artist, lover of guns, aficionado of anything he did, amazing man and friend.
Chad is survived by his mother, Karen (Lee Warren) Cook; his father, Doug (Karen Hoium); sister, Krysta Olson; niece, Faith McCombs; grandmother, Gloria Cook; grandfather, Elmer “Bud” (Marlis) Hutchinson; many aunts, uncles, cousins and more friends than anyone could ever wish for.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Raymond Cook and grandmother, Jean Hutchinson.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2011 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk with Rev. Dennis Heaney officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Mound Cemetery in Somonauk. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
