Catherine L. Orseske

Catherine L. Orseske, 77, formerly of Somonauk, ,IL passed away Monday, July 27, 2026 at Pleasant View Lutheran Home in Ottawa, IL. She was born on April 14, 1949 in Aurora, IL. The daughter of Vernon and Leona (Shrimp) Moeller. She married Paul Raymond Orseske Jr. on June 15, 1968 in Romeoville, IL. She was a long-time member at Cross Lutheran Church in Yorkville, IL. Catherine dedicated eighteen plus years working at Waubonsee Community College as a secretary. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Marshall, Rebecca (Bobby) Morton, and Devilyn Orseske; one son, Paul (Mary) Orseske III; three grandchildren, Paul Orseske IV, Corall Morton, and Danielle Bruen; and two great- grandchildren, Hayle Marshall and Riplee Orseske.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul, and one sister Patricia Bothwell.
