Carole J. "Kay" Morley, 72, of Sandwich, IL formerly of Rutland, IL passed away Saturday, May 5, 2007 in Provena-Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born January 18, 1935 in Streator, IL the daughter of Everett R. and Adell R.(Bushell) Ekstrom. She married Donald Max Morley on December 12, 1981 in Minonk, IL. Kay was self-employed hair stylist in Rutland for many years. She loved to travel, read, and paint. She will always be remembered for her ability to tell a good joke and for teaching her kids "not to sweat the small stuff." She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; one daughter, Cynthia (Donald) Shelby of Minonk, IL; one step daughter, Dawn (Timothy) Nauman of Yorkville, IL; one son, Jeffrey Brown of Sugar Grove, IL; one step son, Scott Morley of Harrisburg, IL; five grandchildren, Travis and Kristen Shelby, Quinton Brown, and Nichole and Candice Nauman; one great grandson, Kaiden Shelby, one sister, Joyce (John) Galwacki of Rutland, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Mitchell Turley; one step daughter, Candice Morley, and one brother, Everett Keith Ekstrom.
