Carol Ella Loux, 80, of Sandwich passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion in Sandwich. She was born December 16, 1935 in Ottawa, IL, the daughter of Simon and Joyce Dominy Peterson. She married Donald Loux on October 25, 1958 in Stavanger, IL. Carol was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Somonauk for 58 years, where she served on Esther Circle. She enjoyed vacationing, antiquing but her greatest love of all was her family.
She is survived by her husband, Don of Sandwich, IL; one son, David Julie Loux of Plano, IL; two grandchildren, Taylor Morgan Sibley Loux of Tinley Park, IL and Rylie Loux of Plano, IL; one sister, Sharon Wayne Alsvig of Marseilles, IL; one brother, Larry Gloria Peterson of Seneca, IL and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Cathy Loux, one son, Doug Loux and one granddaughter, Taryn Loux.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Somonauk, IL with Pastor William C. Weidenbach, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk.
