Bruce Benjamin Granath

Bruce Benjamin Granath, 75, of Somonauk passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora. He was born November 26, 1936 in Chicago the son of Rolfe and Henrietta (Haagensen) Granath. Bruce was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Somonauk and enjoyed spending time at Fox Valley Older Adults.

He is survived by one daughter: Louise (Karl) Wiesbrook of Somonauk; two sons: Karl Granath of Missouri and Ben (Jennifer) Granath of Naperville; four grandchildren: Jessica, Heather, Bailey and Cordell Wiesbrook; one sister: Louise Watson of Washington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Rolfe Granath and one sister, Gloria Norris.

services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 30, 2012 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Somonauk with Pastor Arlyn Tolzmann officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the church. Memorials may be directed to Fox Valley Older Adults.
