Bradley E. "Cloud" Raney

Bradley E. Raney “Cloud”, 63, of Sandwich, IL. passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at Bethany Healthcare in Dekalb, IL. He was born April 16, 1958 in Sandwich, IL. the son of Eldon and Marilyn (Alexander) Raney. He was born and raised in Sandwich, IL. graduated from Sandwich High School, class of 1976. He worked at All Steel in Montgomery, IL, and Aurora Bearings for several years, also obtaining his CDL, where he drove a truck for Mid-American Water, Inc. in Aurora, IL. Brad enjoyed fishing, hiking, and spending time outdoors. He rooted for all the Chicago sports teams and watching Nascar. He will be missed by so many people that loved and cared about him. He was known as a kind and gentle man that would lend a hand to anyone in need. Most of all Brad enjoyed all the time spent with his family.

He is survived by one lovely daughter, Alisa (Andrew Olson) Raney of Sandwich, IL.; three beautiful granddaughters, Maddison Clemons, Olivia Olson, and Sophia Olson; three siblings, Scott (Dana) Raney of Tucson, AZ., Brenda Raney of Florida and Lorena (Roger) Ensminger of Sterling, VA., the mother of his daughter, Terrie Raney of Sandwich, IL. and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, Charles and Forrest Raney and Harry and Della Alexander and one-half brother, Mike Raney.

Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL. with Pastor Stevan Saunders officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. on January 22, 2022 at Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL.
