Bonnie Springer, 74, of Barron, WI passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born December 10, 1948 in Rice Lake, WI, the daughter of Ernest and Eleanor (Weideman) Solberg. She married Richard Springer, had two wonderful sons, and spent many years together. Bonnie later met Jeff Pyle and they spent many wonderful years together. She enjoyed the great outdoors, gardening, fishing, and camping. Bonnie was always up for going out to have a good time, especially to the casinos. Most of all, Bonnie loved spending time with her family and her pets.

She is survived by her two sons, Kevin (Christine) Springer of Bristol, IL and Craig (Denise Brown) Springer of Oswego, IL; her grandchildren, Shawn (Lindsay) Martinez of Yorkville, IL, Alexandra (Andrew) Mast of Yorkville, IL, Jamie Lynn (Michael) Wilson of Leland, IL, Joelle (Arnie) Hollenbeck of Yorkville, IL, Austin (Cecilia) Martinez of Yorkville, IL, Hunter (Emily Gawne) Springer of Newark, IL, Nathan Brown of Algonquin, IL, Nicole (Mark) Hartman of Sandwich, IL, and Derek “DJ” Brown of Oswego, IL; several great grandchildren; numerous extended family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her longtime companion, Jeff Pyle.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Wayside Cemetery in Barron, WI. Memorials may be directed to Community Cat Rescue of Barron County.
