Beverly Ann Buda

April 10, 1949 — September 27, 2024

Beverly Ann Buda went home to be with Jesus on September 27, 2024 at the age of 75. She was born on April 10, 1949 to the late Kenneth and Rosalie (Cassara) Miller. She grew up with her two sisters, Karen and Donna, in Chicago, Illinois. She later married the late Stanley Buda Jr, and they had 3 daughters: Kim, Karyn and Candice. They lived in Mundelein and then moved to McHenry, Illinois in 1986.

Eventually raising her three daughters by herself, she was a loving, devoted, sacrificial and hardworking mother. In 1998 Beverly and her daughters moved to Genoa, Illinois. Over the years, Beverly provided for her family working full-time while raising her daughters. Beginning in 2018, her retirement years were a joy for her filled with gardening, taking long walks, reading books about history, spending time with her sisters going to flea markets and grape picking and enjoying time with her 3 daughters and their families. She was very talented in making her yard beautiful with flowers, plants and trees. She loved to dig in the dirt just like her father. Spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest joy and they love her so. She enjoyed her time with them going to the park, going on walks to the bridge, frog catching and much more. She always found the time and energy for her grandchildren. They brought so much joy to her life.

In the last years of Beverly’s life, she grew into a very strong faith in Jesus. She enjoyed meeting weekly with her sisters in Christ at her Bible studies. She loved to learn about her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Beverly was blessed to become a great-grandmother one week before Jesus called her home. She was very proud of Levi Huff (son of Annie and Elijah).

Beverly was a beloved GRANDMA (Nammy) and MOTHER to: Kim and husband Craig Campbell of Knoxville, TN and their children: Jake, Annie (husband Elijah Huff), Natalie, Emily and Rosemary-Karyn and husband Jeremy Peterson of Sheridan, IL and their children: Max and Sadie-Candice and husband Ben Jilk of Ellsworth, WI and their children: Amos, Nehemiah and Isaiah. SISTER to: Karen and John Grigus of Lemont, IL-Donna and Bob Haley of Burr Ridge, IL. AUNT to many nieces and nephews and a true friend to many.

Anyone who knew Beverly knows that she took a genuine interest in people and what was happening in their life and brought the joy and light of Jesus to all those around her. We celebrate her eternal home in Heaven and she will always be missed.
